In addition to my weekly photo post, I want to start uploading a weekly art post to keep track of what I've been doing in my studio classes and at work.
First off, here's some stuff from my typography class. I haven't really learned anything new in this class yet, but I really love typography, so I'm enjoying it anyway. Here is some work from a project where we had to use type to embody the meaning of certain words.
I've really been enjoying my printmaking class. I got to put Bowie, Rorschach and a great, big, bushy beard all on the same print. That's pretty awesome. Also, I got a shot of my final GL print, which looks pretty snazzy if I do say so myself.
These are some pieces from my super hero/ comic book collection for my paper making class. Overall, the collection could use some work but I've learned a lot that I can apply to other projects and made a few really cool pieces, so I'm not too broken up about it.
Finally, here's some DN stuff from the past week. Apparently I've been really into silhouettes recently... and sheep.
